Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs) Garden Rooms
Our collaboration with a New Forest based SIPs manufacturer has given us the ability to design and construct the very best Garden Room for your outdoor space. Not only does SIPs deliver the very best in terms of Eco credentials, but its flexible, modular format, enables your building to be of any size and shape, with windows and doors in any position required.
What is SIPs? Structural insulated panels (SIPs) are a high performance modular building system for residential construction. The panels consist of an insulating foam core sandwiched between two structural facings, typically oriented strand board (OSB).Get a Quote
Benefits of Utilising SIPs in Your Garden Room

|Reduced cold bridging (no cold spots)|
|Rapid weather tightening (very quick to install)|
Environmental Benefits of Using SIPs over Traditional Methods:
- Eco friendly SPS insulation
- Sustainable Timber used
- Less wastage
- Reduced heat loss: more energy efficient.
The SIPs We Use
The SIPs we use are: 15mm Sterling Board OSB3 skins as standard. For the foam core of our SIPs we use 100 Grade EPS. We laminate the OSB3 skins and EPS foam together to form SIPs using polyurethane glue and leave to cure under pressure in our press. The timber used to create the outer skins and structural framework of our SIP panels come from FSC accredited plantations.
